“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.“(Matt 6:33)
The “kingdom of God” is God’s active rule over His
creation; to seek the kingdom of God is to receive the eternal life that
Jesus Christ has brought.
When we seek the kingdom, we don’t have to worry
about what to eat, drink, or wear because God rewards those who seek the
Kingdom first. “All these things shall be added unto you “Do not be
defined by the world’s definition of success, which causes people to
desperately chase after things; Instead of the Kingdom of God.
Beloved, let us seek the kingdom of God which is
righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Rom 14:17) Instead of
seeking for things thinking they will bring us peace and joy.
Jesus declares that:-
· “It is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32)
· “Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”(John 3:3)
· “I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom”(Matt. 16:19)
“Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall
we eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek ) for your heavenly
Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek ye first
the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be
added unto you.” (Mat 6:31-33)
