“Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming
toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?”
But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip
answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them,
that every one of them may have a little.” “John 6:5-7)
When Jesus saw the multitude He decided to ask Philip a
question in order to test him. Phillip failed
the test, because he was looking to human reasoning for answers, he calculated
how much money they had to supply bread but he was too blind to see the BREAD OF LIFE right in front of him. Jesus
knew what he was going to do all along. Jesus
is the All Knowing God. When faced with a question like Ezekiel when ask
‘’Can
these dry bones live?” he responded”
Lord You know” (Ezekiel 37:3)
Beloved we don’t have
to look to ourselves for answers when we serve an Omniscient.
“For I know the
plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,” (Jer 29:11)
