Come Unto

“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “(Matt 11:28-30)

Jesus knew that His people needed rest,so He gave us an invitation to rest in Him. Notice in the Invitation Jesus is calling us to Himself; not come unto the church, not come unto religion, not come unto anything or anyone else.
Jesus is not talking about physical rest, but He is talking about spiritual rest; the Rest of Salvation that only those who receive Him as their Savior can experience.
This rest calms the storms of life, quiets from mental torments and provides peace in troubled times

Beloved we cannot find true rest in anything or anyone other than Jesus, so let us” Cast our burdens on the LORD, and he will sustain us. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.”(Ps 55:22) "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”(Galatians 6:9)
