Seek The Lord Early

"O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You…" (Psalm 63:1)

Early - near the beginning of, first, beforehand, initially, ahead of time.

David sought the Lord early in the morning; he wanted to connect with the Lord before the day began. Not only did David seek the Lord early in the morning, but he sought the Lord early in his situation and circumstances. Before things get chaotic and out of control, David put the situation in the hands of the Lord.

After the woman with the issue of blood ran out of all her options she decided to seek Jesus for her healing. If she had sought him early when her issue began probably she would have been spared so many years of agony. Luke 8:43-48

 “Seek the LORD and His strength, seek His face continually.”(1 Chron 16:11)

“But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.”(Deut 4:29)

Beloved, let us not let the Lord our last resort, but seek Him early and put Him first in every area of our lives.
