“…Nothing can hinder
the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”(1 Sam 14:6)
After Joseph received a dream and David was anointed, they
thought that their future was bright; however along the way they both
experience many setback, disappointment and things that threaten the promises
of God. Joseph and David kept moving forward in spite of the obstacles and opposition
they faced. We can see in the long run that all their Setbacks were really The Lord
Setting them up for His blessings and promises.
Beloved the Promises of God are sure, so if God has promised
us something we can rest assure that “it
shall come to pass” regardless of the setbacks
we may encounter. The purpose of the Lord must be established in our lives,
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against
us?” ( Rom 8:31)
I declare that Setbacks
will not set us back, but setbacks will cause us to move forward to the
place that the Lord has Set up for us.
