Face the Fact

“Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old and that Sarah's womb was also dead.”(Rom 4:19)

Face the Fact- to confront and accept the consequences of something or someone
Abraham was willing to face his helplessness. He faced two inevitable facts his body was dead and Sarah's womb was dead. They were closer to the grave than to the marital bed.

Faith also faced the fact that God is faithfulness to keeps His promises.  God promised him that he would be the father of many nations.

Facing facts does not take away from our faith; it actually free us to recognize our helplessness and put our in the ability of the Lord.
Abraham faced the facts but believed the TRUTH.
Beloved, let us face the fact that without God we are helpless and trust in His Faithfulness.

“Being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised this is why it was credited to him as righteousness.”(Rom 4:21-22)
